Raise a Glass: Where to Grab a Drink in Kent, WA
Now that you’ve settled into your new home at Dockside Apartments, you may be wondering where you can go grab a drink with friends and celebrate! We’re here to tell you where to wet your whistle and grab some grub while you’re at it!
Down the street, we have The Harp Bar & Restaurant for Irish food, beer, and live events like musical acts and trivia nights. You’ll notice the Irish saying “cead mile failte” in bold text on the wall — this translates to “a hundred thousand welcomes.”
For a more laid-back evening, Meeker Street Bar & Grill serves up excellent pub grub and has billiards tables so you can shoot some pool when the workday concludes.
Located within Kent Station, you have a choice between Reds Wine Bar & Craft Beer or Ram Restaurant & Brewery. Both are excellent options! The Ram is known for its excellent burgers and sandwiches as well as happy hour specials if you show up when the time is right. With a modern, fun, and inviting ambiance, Reds is a classy choice for date night or when you want to try something new.
You’ll have two options for where to try this brewery’s craft beer. There’s The Bistro & Beer Garden where all ages are welcome just a few minutes away or The Tap Room & Brewery which is a short drive north and only for those 21 and up. Keep your eyes on this one! They release new beers with fresh tastes regularly.
Drive south for 15-minutes and you’ll reach Geaux Brewing, where PNW craft beer blends with Louisiana soul for a unique experience. We highly recommend geaux-ing to their Mardi Gras celebration in the spring! They have an upstairs and downstairs bar so the fun doesn’t have to end – until last call, of course.
